About Marc Latamie
Marc Latamie is an artist distinguished for his work in a wide range of mediums. For more than two decades, his work has garnered appreciation through exhibitions in Europe, the United States, and South America. Marc Latamie’s was part of the hit exhibition of Contemporary Artists on Slavery hosted by the New York Historical Society.
Beyond his creative contributions to the global art community, Latamie is also an accomplished art historian. His participation in academia extends to a visiting scholar position at New York University as a Guest Professor at the Cooper Union School of Art. His past leadership positions include President of the Jury for Art School Diplomas at the Visual Art School of Martinique. He also gave lectures at Academic institutions such as U Mass Boston, Columbia University and Harvard University.
Marc Latamie holds a Licence of Art History and Visual Art from Université Paris 8. He is also a Laureate of the Villa Médicis Hors-les-Murs Award from the French Government.
